Leigh Broadway

Singer/Entertainer at the Gala.

Leigh's credits include musicals, movies, television, theatre and recording. She was seen in the movie, Sister Act II, and has performed in community theater. In addition to being a talented singer, she is also a violinist, songwriter, model, public speaker and Special Olympics Volunteer. Leigh lives in Rancho Santa Margarita, California.

 

Bev Michielson

Song writer (“Simple Acts of Care and Kindness”) and Song Leader for the Conference

Bev Michielson, of “Through Me Ministries” attended the International Conference on Care and Kindness 2001 and was inspired to compose the theme song for the Conference. She suffers from a neurological, debilitating disease that may eventually cost her the use of her limbs, but feels blessed by God for the spiritual transformation that has taken place in her life. She has been given new opportunities to share her story and sing God's grace, mercy and peace. Volunteering for Hospice, developing a Congregational Care program for the church, initiating "Through me Ministries", and dealing with people ranging from elementary age children to the elderly, she fully understands that “90% Is Just Being There.” She lives in Michigan

 

Diane Frazer Cross

Pianist/Entertainer at the Gala

Diane has enjoyed a successful career as a pianist for more than twenty years, having performed with the Columbus Symphony Orchestra, The Columbus Symphony Chorus, Opera Columbus, Columbus Light Opera and Cantari Singers. She has served on the faculties of Capital, Otterbein and Denison Universities. She played a concert tour in Israel and recitals with principal player of the Israel Philharmonic, Oslo Philharmonic Rochester Philharmonic and the Columbus Symphony. She is married, has two teenage sons and lives in Worthington, Ohio.
