PATRON OF CARE
Scholarship Program

For the past two years the Care Conference has been a successful vehicle
for motivating, inspiring and equipping people to care more effectively for their family, neighbors and strangers.

Subjects such as adoption, grief, aging, infertility, mental illness, teens in crisis and many more have been designed to inform attendees on issues they may or may not be dealing with personally, but they do know people who are. The goal is to provide an awareness of the struggles your neighbor or coworker may be experiencing, along with suggestions of simple things you can say or do to be of help. We also try to cover the basics necessary for care and kindness to flourish, i.e., listening skills, understanding of feelings, and prayer.

Unfortunately, the costs of the conference have necessitated registration fees that are higher than we would like. We make every effort to keep our expenses down to the bare minimum, yet many people are still not able to afford the cost of the conference.

Because we want this wave of care and loving kindness— a “tsunami”—to spread into the lives of every man, woman and child, we feel we need to some- how find a way to underwrite some of these expenses. The Patron of Care program was announced at our last conference, offering a special crystal Patron of Care award to each person who donates $500 or more. Each crystal piece is numbered and includes a special engraved message. This fund will help defer the costs of the conferences or provide special scholarships for those who would like to attend but cannot afford the registration.

Our deepest desire is to make this conference widely available so that anyone may attend who has a desire to improve his/her ability to be a good friend, parent, neighbor or just a better person.

If you share our vision—spreading a wave of care around the world—we would appreciate any donation to the Patron of Care program. Donations of $500 or more will receive the very special, limited edition Patron of Care award. You may send your tax-deductible donation to:
