Kindness Conference 2005
The eighth annual Conference on Care and Kindness was held at the Crystal Cathedral March 10, 11, 12, 2005.
A sampling of pictures (below) taken during the three-day event and quotations from feedback forms submitted at the end of the conference give an indication of the joy and growth
reported by the participants.
Dr. Kok welcomed everyone to the “Happiness Event”, saying that we could call it “The Happiness Conference” because that expresses the real
bottom line. As each of us delivers acts of kindness more conscientiously and intentionally to those around us, two wonderful changes happen:
(1) The care and kindness recipient is elevated to new levels of well-being and
happiness, and
(2) The one who gives kindness and care will experience gratification and joy in new ways.
Our first one-day — it’s very good. But we miss the intensity and fullness of the 3-day conference. But we know many “career” folks who can only come to the one day conference.
This was good. Made a difference in opening my thoughts to new perspectives. Very useful!
Great conference, excellent topics, good speakers, wonderful attendees. So much packed into every day.
